It's highly anticipated by everyone, it may not really be GTA 6, but there is no harm in playing previous versions of the GTA series (from Rockstar's point of view). We confirmed this months ago, but today, Rockstar officially confirms it, with more information about this release.

Announcing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition

Rockstar has officially announced the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition trilogy. Which includes the famous trio games: GTA 3, GTA San Andreas, and GTA Vice City. Which you will be able to play again, but this time with good improvements on both graphics, and gameplay, and try to bring these games to match the modern technologies of video games. If you're nostalgic about the past, childhood games from Rockstar, we're happy to tell you that you can play them again this year.


What's new in the release of this trilogy? 

This trilogy will not be just a repetition of the famous games of the company Rockstar, but will bring a lot of different features to make it fun for all players, especially those who missed this series of games. 

The first updates that this game will bring will be the graphics, which will be greatly improved (Enhanced Graphics) to be compatible with the latest devices to play, so that the player feels that they are playing recently launched games, not games that were released decades ago. But despite the graphic improvements, Rockstar will keep the basics that make up the game icon (such as characters, cars, buildings, game map...). Graphic details are still murky, though, and Rockstar has said it will reveal more (perhaps Gameplay or Trailer) next week.



Game Consoles Another update will be brought in the game as well. These games will become widely available for different gaming devices. And you can play any part of this trilogy on the computer, of course, then the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, and their rivals Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, as well as Nintendo consoles. Surprisingly, these games can also be played on smartphones (Android and iOS) as well.

Regarding this update, Rockstar will begin removing the ability to purchase digital editions of the three GTA series (Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA 3). So that you can no longer buy it from game stores starting next week, in preparation for the launch of the new version. Rockstar has not yet announced whether you will be able to download this series as an integrated package (that is, download the three games at once) or separately for each version.

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Release Date 

As for the three versions on previous game consoles, which are PC, Xbox, then Playstation, and also Nintendo later this year in the next two months. While you will not be able to play it on mobile until next year, when the company will officially announce it for mobile devices.
